Yuva Pradhanmantri Scheme Online Registration Process

Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education on launched the Yuva-Pradhan Mantri scheme to train young writers. it is a writer mentoring program to train young and budding writers (under 30 years of age), to promote reading, writing and book culture and to bring India and Indian writing globally be displayed.

YUVA (Young, Upcoming and Versatile Authors):

  • A total of 75 authors will be selected through an All India Contest to be conducted through https://www.mygov.in/ from 1 June – 31 July 2021.
  • The winners will be announced on 15 August 2021.
  • The young authors will be trained by eminent authors/mentors.
  • Under the mentorship, the manuscripts will be readied by 15 Dec. 2021 for publication.
  • The published books will be launched on 12 January 2022 on the occasion of National Youth Day (Yuva Diwas).
  • A consolidated scholarship of Rs.50,000 per month for a period of six months per author will be paid under the Mentorship Scheme

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Pradhan Mantri YUVA Yojana i.e. www.nbtindia.gov.in.

What is Yuva Pradhan Mantri Yojana?

Giving official information, the Union Ministry of Education said that Yuva is a part of the Bharat 75 Project (Amrit Mahotsav of Independence). The plan is to bring the young generation of writers’ views on forgotten heroes, freedom fighters, unknown and forgotten places and their role in the national movement and other subjects in an innovative and creative way. Thus the scheme will help in developing a stream of authors who can write on different aspects of subjects to promote Indian heritage, culture and knowledge system.

Selection Procedure for Yuva Pradhan Mantri Yojana

Yuva Pradhanmantri Yojana This is a type of incentive scheme under which winners will be recognized nationally and internationally with incentive money and the book written by them will also be published, but this benefit will be given only to the winners.

For this, the National Book Trust, under the Ministry of Education as the implementing agency, will ensure the phased execution of the scheme under the systematic steps of the Protection of India. Books prepared under this scheme will be published by the National Book Trust, India. Apart from this, to ensure the exchange of culture and literature, they will also be translated into other Indian languages, which will promote ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. The selected young writers will interact with some of the best writers of the world and participate in literary festivals etc.

All the manuscripts written by the authors will be inspected by 15 December 2021 i.e. these books will be inspected and all these manuscripts will be examined on the occasion of National Youth Day on 12 January 2022, then the winning youth will be selected and they will be 6. Scholarship of ₹ 50000 per month will continue to be paid. In Yuva Pradhanmantri Yojana, the National Book Trust (NBT) will play the role of the nodal agency, and the National Book Trust (NBT) will also publish books written by authors in Indian and other translations, ie at the national and international level.
